Non-stop crafting

This describes my Saturday and Sunday. I've created 3 She Art girls and 3 cards!!

First off, my cards. I originally just created one for the LIM challenge this week, which is a recipe to choose a section of a card and keep the majority of your design in this square. So here was my first card.

I was really pleased with it, it took a few attempts to get it to a card I liked, but I got there. I printed the sentiment on the front, and inside the card it reads  '... to say   Happy Birthday' in the same font. As I was just finishing, Mum shouted to me and told me that someone had just uploaded a card almost exactly the same for LIM.
Never mind, I then decided to make another. Well, actually I made two more as I came across a few quickutz dies that inspired me. So here are my other two entries.
I really love the white on white layering that everyone is doing at the moment, so I thought I'd use it on this very simple congrats card, which could be used as either an engagement or wedding card.
Then this one, I really like this, lots of glitter, pretty girlie colours, I think this really suits it's 16 year old audience. Kraft again, it just looks lovely with pink and white on it :)

We had to choose one of the squares from this sketch to focus our image in.

I hope you like them. I'll be around to comment on other entries later :)

Now onto my She Art girls. I'll share them with you another day, but for now I thought I'd show you this close up of one of them :)

Thanks for visiting, bye for now,

Hi Hannah. Your cards are just gorgeous! I especially love the kite and it works so well in the upper corner. The SheArt girl is fab too - is this part of a set you're making? My daughter is also up to her eyes in GCSEs so I do sympathise. Not too long to go now though. Good luck with the rest of your exams!

Love the cards Hannah! And that canvas is gorgeous, adore the colors, and the little black dots on the right balance it out beautifully :)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog (again!), your comments always make me smile :) I have a Canon 400d, great starter slr, but I'm reeeeeeally wanting a Nikon d700, Ive been told they've stopped producing them, though, so I'm waiting for the d800, fingers crossed it'll be out before the end of the year!
