Ahh, finally another scrapbook page. It's really quite hectic at the minute, I thought once my modules were over I'd have a tiny bit more time to breathe, but no, I've still had loads to do. I was fed up of doing school work a few days ago and felt run down, so I did no homework that evening and scrapped instead.
I am a nightmare, I have re arranged and re organised my room over the last week and the amount of unfinished mini books I've found is just unbelievable!! I have set myself the target of getting at least my Prom mini book finished this year, if I just give myself that tiny challenge it might actually get done. I've made a bit of progress, here's my next page.
I need to continue my book and get it finished before too long, before anymore changes happen. I've already realised that I was going to put in a picture of one of my friends and her boyfriend, but they're now not together, so that may be an interesting page!! I need to get on with it before anything else like that happens :D
I haven't had much time to take pictures either recently, plus the weather hasn't really been the nicest for outdoor shots has it, so no photos from me at the moment. Hopefully as the weather improves I'll be able to get out and take photos more, although Mum will be wanting the camera too then. I really need a DSLR of my own :D
Bye for now,
Hannah :)

Busy Playing
We've been busy playing with our new camera over the last few days. I love it and really want one of my own. Yesterday we went to collect a prime lens for it. Wow. Prime lenses are incredible. I knew we'd get one when we had our DSLR as I love the amazing apertures they can achieve, so now we have one I just had to play. Hope you like these.

Modules are done
Pheww, all of my module exams are done for the time being. My next exams will be mocks at the end of January.
I had two maths exams yesterday and a Biology exam today. I feel they all went ok, I found the maths ones really great papers and am pretty confident and happy with how I feel I did. Biology was harder, but none of the questions that came up were really horrid and I feel I did my best. I don't know when we get the results for these, but I'll let you know when I do.
Now that means I am back to normal homework instead of revision, but I prefer that as it means I'm learning new things and not just going over everything again and again. As I didn't have an exam in Psychology, I've let that drift away a little recently, whilst I concentrate on the others. It's great to be able to pick that up a bit again now as we're now learning about a study on Autistic and Asperger's syndrome participants, which is really interesting, I love it. I've decided that that is the sort of line of work I want to head into, some sort of Psychology based job that centre's around children, Autism, Aspergers syndrome, that sort of area, basically development and developmental disorders. It is something I have always had a strong interest in and I've always wanted a job which involves children, I used to want to be a teacher, so now I am really happy to have a bit more of an idea of the direction I'll take.
Ok, bye for now

A new year, a new look
I decided that, now I have entered the world of Digi scrapping, have a fair bit of digi stash and it's a new year, my blog needed a new look.
I spent ages last night trying to make the background, it was good fun trying out a few different designs. I knew that the dandelion head by Dawn Inskip had to be featured, what with my love of dandelions and the image being gorgeous.
It's a lot more 'me' this background and header, my favourite colours and my favourite digi scrapping elements combined.
I hope you like it. :D

Happy New Year and a love story
Well, it's belated, but I still want to wish you all a Happy New Year and best wishes for whatever life throws at you this year.
I hope you all had a great Christmas. I know I did. We moved into our house last November and spent Xmas 09 at our Grannies, so this year it was our first proper Christmas at home. We had our Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle to our house for the day, which was really lovely. I had many great presents and really enjoyed being with family for the whole day.
Now to the love story part. I have a new love in my life. No, not a boy (I wish!! :D), instead it's a camera. We got a new camera after Christmas, a SLR. Well, I say we, really I mean Mum, but anyway I absolutely love it. Mum hasn't really had it in her hands much, I've been snapping away instead!! It's so great to finally have a SLR in the household though. I've been revisiting some of my 12 days of Christmas modules to see how it compares to the original photos I took.
Here is some of the photos I've taken so far.
One of the great appeals of a SLR is the fabulous apertures they can achieve. I absolutely love photos with a shallow depth of field, I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! I really love these photos, lets just say there were a few gasps of breath when I saw how these came out, it just goes to show what amazing apertures this camera can achieve. :)
Just another few Christmas snaps with the new camera, it's lovely to use and it's been great to get practising before the Christmas decorations go away. I hope you like them.
Only one day left until I'm back at school I've more than a day's worth of revision to squash in!! I have exams the following week and am slightly nervous of these, something about them being AS grades makes them slightly more scary than GCSE's!!!
Anyway, that's enough from me for now, I just had to tell you about our new camera. ;D
