Can anyone help?

Hi everyone,
I hope you're having a great weekend.
Today I need your help. I was searching through blogs and commenting the other day, when I came across a photo of some flowers. They had been handmade, but looked like these prima ones.
Sorry I've changed the picture as I have remembered it was these they were as copy of

Now, whilst these look as though they may be quite straight forward to make, a tutorial would be very helpful.
I cannot remember who's blog I was visiting when I found these handmade flowers. The blog page gave a link to the tutorial they had learnt how to make them from.
If you know which blog had the image on, or where I will find the tutorial, then please let me know :) It may not have been a very recent post, as I was enjoying looking back at a few people's blogs :)
I have searched all of the places I can think of to try and find it, I am either missing it or not looking in all of the places.
Sorry if it was your blog that I found them on, I was busy at the time when I saw them so didn't click to find out more, but now I wish I had as I'd love to find the tutorial :)
Thanks for your help :)

Only 3 days to go until the TPV Blogaversary!!!
I am really excited about it, and I hope many of you will join in where you can. I have made some projects for it that I am extremely pleased with, so do pop back each day to see my posts and hopefully play along :)

It's going to be BRILLIANT!!! :D

Also, have many of you tried the new blogger interface? I LOVE it, it's so nice and easy to use. Now, when you are writing these posts, you are not restricted to seeing only a tiny amount of writing and have a much larger viewing box :) It's great :) We have also updated our Internet to Google chrome so the new blogger interface is happy, and so are we, the format and speed of Google chrome is brilliant :)

Ok, right, that's it from me today.
Bye for now :)

Happy 1st Birthday....

..... to my little old blog.

A year ago I set up this blog, like many other crafters, just so I could follow some of the amazing inspirational blogs out there and post a few of my layouts on here.

I never thought that a year later I would have had posted 89 times, had over 4100 pageviews, 360 lovely comments and have 32 amazing followers. So........

It really does mean a lot and brightens my day to come onto blogger and read some gorgeous supportive comments, so thank you so so much :D

So, it got me thinking this morning, what was my favourite LO over this last year......ummm..

I think my personal favourite is this one

I don't know why, I just really love it.

And that got me thinking.......
Which of my pages has been your favourite?

So, if you find time today I would love to hear from you, which has been your favourite?

Once again, thanks for your support over this last year, I hope it may continue.

Thanks you,
Lots of love xxx

Mum

It's been lovely being at home today, working hard but in my own environment and spending the day with mum. We both went out for a dog walk this afternoon before James came in, unfortunately the sun went in as soon as we got out on the walk, but it was still a lovely walk. We took the camera and I actually had the camera in my hands for the entire walk!! There was a reason though, Mum has started her own blog and wanted a nice photo of her to put as her profile image. I love taking portrait shots so really enjoyed taking them.

Mum really loves both of these and I feel very proud to have taken them as she normally doesn't like photos of herself. I'm so happy with how they've come out.
Mum and Rolo in our lovely local woods, it really is starting to feel a bit warmer and almost like spring :)

Mum has wanted to start her blog for a long while and has finally decided too. Please head over and take a look. (click on her blog header to take you there)

P.S. I hope you like the blog background and header I designed for her :D

Bye for now, I hope you've had a great Valentine's day

Meerkat

Hello everyone,

I've had a bit of time to sort out my digi stash and do a quick page over the past few days. It didn't take long and I know it could be much better but it was mainly created so I could try the technique of blending the photo with the background. I'm pleased with how it turned out.
I took this photo on Monday when we went to a Wildlife Park. James loved watching the meerkats eat whilst this chap stood guard. He burst into reciting the 'Compare the Market' advert as soon as we walked in to the Meerkat Manor, much to everyones amusement. :D

For those of you who use Blogger I have made an observation which you may wish to hear about. There is an updated version of blogger that we can chose, it has just not been made obvious. The updated version makes uploading photos when posting so much easier, it puts them where your cursor is!! To find the update, you have to go to the 'Settings' tab, 'Basic', and then scroll down to the 'Global settings' section. Under 'Select post editor' there is a new option to click, 'Updated editor'. Clicking this updates the posting options and many other things, it's great.

We went out for a celebratory meal for my exam results last night. We had a 3 course meal, which I'm not used to, and I walked out feeling like a balloon, so fat and full. It was so yummy, we went to a pub we often go to as it is consistently good, hearty food. Thanks for everyone's congratulations comments, they mean a lot. I have an 'interview' at my school on Tuesday to finalise sixth form choices and then begin back on the Thursday. I'm looking forward to it. I need to shop for suitable clothing to wear, Mum keeps saying she's not looking forward to it, I wonder why?!!!

Bye for now,
Hannah :)
