Bold and layered

I've created another LO (not sure if scrapping was the best use of some of my study leave today but never mind, I've studied a fair bit too!!)

I really wanted to do this weeks Sketchy Thursday's sketch, it's a double but there are so many possibilities with it.
I also spotted that this weeks 'The Studio' scrap challenge is

So, a combination of the two gave me the inspiration for this layout :)

I am really pleased with it. I love all of the layers I managed to achieve, and I am glad I'm becoming a bit more adventurous as I am pleased with the paint and ripped, curled edges :)

Here's a close up, showing all of the layering

I used the right hand side of the Sketchy Thursday's sketch, swapping the position of the title but keeping everything else pretty much the same :)

Here's another close up

I hope you like it.

This is my 100th post :D Yipee. Thanks very much for your continued support and the amazing comments you leave me. It's very much appreciated :D

Bye for now,

Love all the layers clustered together - looks amazing and detailed.

And scrapping is totally the best way to spend study leave. It's basically what study leave is for, the name is just designed to confuse people.

: ) You never cease to amaze me. You have such a natural flair. This page is just gorgeous. I personally feel that taking a break from study for a bit and letting your creative side take over for a bit is a good thing.
