Hi everyone,
I have followed Helen's amazing craft blog for a while (click here to visit it), she creates some brilliant little gifts which have inspired me for gifts this christmas (dare I mention it!!) Helen also has another blog, her monkey blog, which I just love. I stumbled across it and thought the monkeys were so gorgeous, at first I thought Helen had knitted them, but when I found the post mentioning buying them from ebay I couldn't resist.
So here they are, our monkeys which we managed to win for a brilliant price. I've told James he can have the small monkey, which he has named Boris, but am still to come up with a name for mine, so any ideas would be welcome.
It's coming to the end of our half term now, I've been a bit naughty and not really got much work done, but plan to over the next few days. I did have an aim to start and complete a piece of artwork for my bedroom wall over this half term, I've started, but I'm not sure it'll get finished!! I'm not even half way through it yet! This is how it looks currently, it's a collage of things I care about and are special to me, plus bits that just look pretty!!
(Sorry about the colours in the photos, I've taken them this evening so the lightbulbs have made it look orangey!!)
I hope you like it, I'll blog any more progress I make.
In the meantime, any name suggestions for my monkey are welcome, and I hope you are well.
Hannah :)

Bit of scrapping at last!!
I have finally had time to sit down and scrapbook!! I am doing a scrapbooking evening at my Rangers group on Friday evening, so have been preparing bits and have done an example page. On Wednesday it is the last day of the guiding centenary year, so we decided a unit scrapbook to look back over the things we have done during the centenary would be very fitting. Here is the page I have created as an example to the group.
Today I decided to have a break and create a digital scrapbook page. I wanted to scrapbook an autumn photo from last weekend, and here it is.
I have followed a sketch to do this page, and it's the first 8 1/2 x 11" page I've ever done. I'm really pleased with this page. :)
Have a good weekend.

Autumn photos
Following my last post I decided I really wanted to get out there with my camera. Mum is on another of Cheryl Johnson's photography courses so needed to go out and make the most of the gorgeous weather we had on Sunday, so of course we all went with her. We took the dog and thankfully had my nan to take him whilst we snapped away during the walk, a combination of James and the dog are not manageable when trying to take photos, so it's great to have nan nearby to help out.
Here are my photos from the day, it was great to get out in the blissful autumn day and use my camera, which I haven't done for a few weeks.
We went to a local ruin which is just gorgeous, absolutely perfect for photos and I plan to return with a few friends sometime to do some fun portraits, it'll be great. I really liked this arch with the gorgeous view (it would've been a gorgeous house) and it just shouted for a silhouette.
The window seemed like a lovely frame and colour contrast to the golden trees.
We then moved on to a big house which has gorgeous grounds, and as the sun was gradually setting the light was beautiful, it's easy to see why it is called the golden hour(s)!
I couldn't resist!! I know I'm obsessed, but in those lighting conditions they just look so magical and amazing. The field was glistening as the sun shone on these beautiful heads.
And my favourite photo of the day. :D
I hope you like my photos to and can enjoy the chance to get outside and photograph this gorgeous season.
For now, thanks for stopping by and keep well.

Long time, no post
Sorry it's been so long since my last post. I don't even have an excuse, my work levels haven't been a problem, I'm managing to fit most of my work into my free study lessons at school which is great. So here's a little update.
Craft wise, I haven't managed much. Following my last post, I did make the card I had said about, and here it is.

I really enjoyed making the card and using my special new punch. My only wish was that my handwriting is nicer!! I gave this card to a friend last weekend for her birthday, she loved it :)
My AS levels are going well, I am absolutely loving Psychology!! At the minute we are reading and understanding a study on dreaming, it's so fascinating.
I'm loving autumn, it's always been my favourite time of year. The colours, scenery and comfortable temperatures, it's just perfect for photography. I haven't had many opportunities to get out with my camera recently, I keep forgetting it when we go out for dog walks. I am currently beginning to save up for an SLR camera, I really wish my saved funds were growing quicker, but it'll be well worth the wait.
Bye for now,
Hannah :)
