Hi everyone,
As I said in my last post I have been re-arranging my bedroom and giving it a bit of an organise/spring clean. We moved into our house over a year ago but because there have been many other more important things to do around the house my furniture was just chucked into my room and left. I have finally had time to re-arrange it and make it feel more like my room, my world.
I love it and the final addition was added this weekend. I thought I'd share my little world with you.
Here's my new addition this weekend, my photo ledge. Ikea, isn't it a great shop :D I love to make my bedroom really me, and so I put many of scrapbook pages and photos on display. As you can see, most of my photos are of family, I'm a very family orientated person :)
Ah, my necklaces. I love jewellery, I still cannot have enough, I'm always seeing new bits I love. It's quite a jewellery collection, and once again, thanks Ikea, your multi-use hanger is great for my necklaces :)
Here's my room as a whole, OK, I'm quite an Ikea based person, that is an expedit unit, in fact a lot of the things in this photo is from Ikea
My Christmas present from my Aunt and Uncle, this incredibly cool photo frame is great to display lots of little pics. My smiley earring holder, that's also new, I had too many earrings for my other holder. :)
So that's my little world, and I love it. The lights along my shelf are great, originally I just wanted them for really pretty decoration, but last night I realised how amazing they are when I want to lay in bed and read, the light is so bright I no longer have to worry whether I'm straining my eyes or not. :D
On to other things, I didn't get chance to do any scrapbooking over the weekend. We did do the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch though.
As you can see, I did more than just watch the birds!!
We have done the birdwatch for quite a few years now, but it's the first year we've done it at our new, more rural house. It was great, sitting in our sitting room, watching the wildlife which is so close to our patio doors. It's so close that I couldn't resist fetching Mum's camera and taking those shots. I sat taking photos for a few minutes whilst Mum finished off the count, but as soon as we'd finished the count, the camera magically swapped from my hands to Mum's and I never saw it again :(
Anyway I was pretty happy with these shots. I hope you like them.
Bye for now,
Hannah :)
