Playing pretend

Here's the layout I promised yesterday. I really loved making this :)

As you can see I bought a Dawn Inskip kit at the weekend with some of her hand-drawn style embellies. I love them, they worked so well with this page. The alphabet was another thing within the kit, it was a really fab bundle, great as my first kit. The dotty paper is another weekend purchase, I received it in the free boys collaboration kit at Pickleberrypop as I spent over the certain limit (which wasn't high let me add, digi scrapping seems a lot cheaper than proper scrapbooking!!).

Me and James have been to our Nan and Grandad's house today, and played more pretend shops. He really enjoys playing pretend games of all sorts, and it is good to use them to teach him little life skills along the way. Today's game rapidly turned into a dressing up fest following my Nan turning up to the 'shop' dressed as a Posh Madam. I took a few photos of James and I in our wacky dressing up costumes, it may progress into another page! :D

I hope you like it, bye for now :) xx

Looks great! I love the stitching and ribbon on the side. The hand-drawn grocery items are cute too.

This is super! You've really got the hang of adding in all the complicated embellies and stuff - I'm still stuck on making layers in Photoshop!
